BIM MEP modeler
The successful candidate will be interested in growing with a fast paced firm, with the possibility of quickly moving into a leadership role. Construction experience is a very important asset to our VBL team. It is critical we know our customer’s environments. As part of our highly experienced world class team this individual will be responsible for the delivery processes for MEP (mechanical/electrical/plumbing). The role will involve monitoring the progression of projects through the design phase, participating in work-plan development, and providing day-to-day project support. VBL has an uncompromising commitment to the quality and accuracy of our product. We will never disappoint our customers.
Core Competencies Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Architecture, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience with AutoCAD MEP; REVIT, and/or Bentley BIM.
- 3+ years of experience with MEP design for facilities drawings.
- Previous experience with an AEC firm preferred.
- Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED desired but not required
Executive Level Business Development Manager
Virtual Building Logistics (A leader in Building Information Modeling applications) is looking to hire an Executive Level Business Development Manager. This person will need to perform strategic planning, give presentations, client development, client management, direct sales, contract negotiations, and management of the marketing team. Compensation is commensurate to experience. In summary, looking for an individual in the marketplace with strong contacts, deep business development and sales experience (particularly with Building Information Modeling and Virtual Design and Construction), knowledgeable about complete construction management process, and has demonstrated soft-skills to work effectively as leader of a business development team. Job Requirements: Candidates must have at least 10 years experience in sales with a general contractor, construction manger or design firm building commercial and Industrial Projects. – Person can come from design or construction side of the business.
