Cathay Pacific Services Ltd. invested approximately HK $4.8 billion to build the world’s largest cargo terminal at the Hong Kong International Airport.  The facility is scheduled to begin operations in early 2013. Built upon 10 hectares and adjacent to existing cargo servicing facilities, the Cathay Pacific terminal was designed to carry a throughput capacity of 2.6 million tonnes. It is designed to be one of the most sophisticated terminals in the world and strengthen Hong Kong International Airport as the world’s leading air cargo and logistics hub.

Virtual Building Logistics assisted on the Cathay Pacific Cargo Terminal by coordinating BIM methdologies and digital models, as well as, all mechanical modeling.
