CONSOL Energy Center
CONSOL Energy Center is a 18,500-seat, multi-purpose indoor arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It is home of the NHL’s Pittsburgh Penguins. CONSOL Energy Center was constructed to provide fans with wider, more comfortable seats with more legroom and closer to the action. The arena includes nearly 2,000 club seats, over 200 upscale box seats, a private executive suite level, two clubs, over 800 HD televisions, a pub and a 4,000 square foot team store.
InteliBuild brought Virtual Building Logistics on to the project to perform mechanial modeling. Construction began in August 2008. The arena opened in August 2010.
