Hach Hall at Iowa State University is a new three-story, 132,000 square foot chemistry building on the University’s main campus.
Opened in August 2010, Hach Hall at Iowa State University provides research and teaching laboratory space for one of the University’s prominent programs. The $74.5 million dollar building contains state-of-the-art classrooms and laboratories for physical and analytical research, chemical instrumentation and synthetic research.
Mortensen Construction and OPN Architects collaborated with Virtual Building Logistics on the project. VBL perform full BIM services on the project. The new chemistry building was certified LEED® Gold following completion.
